Welcome

For forty years, Davis residents have invested in providing an excellent education for all students by committing to parcel taxes that fund our local classrooms. On the March 5th, 2024 ballot we will have the opportunity to renew that commitment by voting Yes on Measure N.

Measure N will:

• Renew the expiring parcel tax at the existing level to ensure continued ongoing funding for vital school programs

• Allow Davis to protect quality educational programs and continue our local control over how our dollars are spent, so our students are prepared to succeed.

• Benefit all community members, whether you have children in school, you are a homeowner, or you believe that investing in our children is the right thing to do.

On the March 5th, 2024, ballot, we ask for you to Vote Yes on Measure N to renew your support for our children, our schools, and our community.

Libraries

For a librarian like me, there is nothing better than connecting a student with the right book. Early and regular chances to choose for themselves what they want to read is one of the best ways for our students to grow into a life-long love of reading. Measure N will ensure that our students continue to have opportunities to follow their reading bliss, whether through Battle of the Books, Family Book Clubs, All-School Reading Days or just browsing the libraries at our school sites.

Prepare Our Kids

As a DJUSD science teacher for two decades, I have seen the needs of students up close. I know the importance of core subjects as well as the impact that elective opportunities like music and athletics can have on our students. Measure N will continue these programs that our community has funded for 40 years.

Support ALL Students

I am a proud Davis High graduate, grateful for the excellent education I received here, and thrilled my children are now part of the District.  Measure N renews our commitment as a community to provide all Davis students with the resources and opportunities they need to find their unique path to excel and thrive.

I’m proud to live in a community that has consistently valued educational opportunities for all of our children.

Protect Community Values

Quality schools have a direct effect on property values. Investing in our schools benefits our homes, our students and our community.

Athletics

It is so important for our students to have access to a wide range of athletic programs at Davis schools. Measure N maintains funding of coaches and other resources to give students the opportunity to participate in a sport while in school and develop the foundation of a healthy and life-long love of physical activity.
